BELKIN E-COMMERCE
I was initially contracted out to help on creating a simple re-skin of Belkins current site as well as create digital marketing campaigns. My tasks quickly turned to include consulting on Belkins full e-commerce re-design and working with their UX team on a variety of mobile app projects.
PROBLEM
Aesthetically, Belkin requested a homepage that would accommodate an array of different marketing campaigns and product information. Experientially, an emphasis on support information and a better product discovery and overview Ui was needed.
SOLUTION
A dynamic matrix of kicker spaces were created for everything below the main promotion area while always maintaining a firm grid structure. Emphasis on improving product detail pages and a faceted search engine for support was also a priority. In addition, all of the marketing work seen on these pages was done by me.
PROCESS
Often, wireframes and page flows were simply sketched out on paper to discuss with stakeholders during quick cubicle meetings. In the event of needed iconography, good old pencil and paper was an essential initial tool as well.
